O Emmy, a maior premiação da TV norte-americana, divulgou nesta quarta (17) os indicados para a edição deste ano, que acontece no dia 15 de setembro, em Los Angeles.
Xogum foi a série mais indicada, com 25 nomeações. The Bear foi o recordista de indicações para um série de comédias, com 23 no total, incluindo as categorias técnicas.
True Detective: Night Country foi o destaque entre as minisséries e antologias, com 19 indicações.
Esta é a primeira edição do Emmy sem os concorrentes habituais, que sempre figuravam como favoritos, como Succession, The Marvelous Ms Meisel, Ted Lasso e Barry. No entanto, as veteranas The Crown e Curb Your Enthusiasm aparecem aqui.
Entre as séries que estreiam na premiação estão Fallout, Palm Royale e Ms. Mrs. Smith.
Esta é a segunda edição do Emmy que acontece em 2024, já que a edição de 2023 foi adiada para o início deste ano por conta da greve dos roteiristas de Hollywood.
