Zoe Thorogood lidera as indicações individuais, com 6 menções, seguida de Thomas Woodruff e Tom King, com quatro. Três brasileiros estão no páreo: Débora Santos e Alex Lins, ambos na categoria melhor HQ curta, porém com obras distintas e Rogê Antônio, por seu trabalho em She-Hulk.

Entre as grandes editoras da indústria, a Image liderou o páreo com 20 indicações, seguidas da DC Comics com 16 e Marvel Comics com 12 (incluindo aqui as publicações em parceria). Fantagraphics, conhecida por seus trabalhos mais autorais tem 13 indicações.
Destaques do cenário de quadrinhos deste ano, como Ducks, de Kate Beaton e Little Monarchs, de Jonathan Case, ambos inéditos por aqui, estão entre os indicados no Eisner Awards. Demolidor, de Chip Zdarsky, Marco Checchetto e Rafael de Latorre é outra obra elogiada pela crítica e com fortes chances.
Todos os profissionais da indústria de quadrinhos dos EUA são elegíveis a votar no Eisner Awards. A votação se encerra no dia 9 de junho e os troféus entregues durante em uma cerimônia durante a San Diego Comic-Con, no dia 21 de julho.
Brasileiros já venceram o Eisner Awards
No ano passado, dois brasileiros levaram troféus no Eisner Awards. Mike Deodato Jr. venceu o prêmio de Melhor Publicação de Humor por Nem Todo Robô, em parceria com Mark Russell. Já o quadrinista Fido Nesti levou o troféu de Melhor Adaptação de Outra Mídia, por George Orwell’s 1984: The Graphic Novel.
